Black oak is the dramatic one. It's the finish people pick when they've already decided the room is going to be the statement — theater rooms, primary bedrooms with dark paint, home bars, podcast studios, upscale restaurants and cocktail lounges.

Still real wood veneer — the grain is visible, not painted-over flat black. 118" tall x 24" wide, MDF core, acoustic felt backing to kill echo in rooms with hard surfaces. Priced slightly higher ($150 vs $130) because the darker veneer runs a premium with our supplier.

The finish absorbs light instead of reflecting it, so if you're running LED backlighting through the slats, the contrast is brutal in the best way. If you want "movie theater lobby" energy in a 10x12 room, or "members-only steakhouse" energy behind a bar, this is the panel.
